About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Visual Designer to join us for a 6-month project, working across brand, content, research, social media and events.
This is an all-rounder role for someone with a strong visual eye who enjoys moving between static design, video editing, presentations and experimenting with new creative tools. We’re looking for someone who can bring ideas to life, work independently and is always curious to learn.
What you’ll work on
• Create static creatives for social media, campaigns, reports and events.
• Edit short-form videos and social content.
• Design presentations and decks using Figma.
• Create quick-turnaround designs using Canva.
• Translate data, research and ideas into compelling visual stories.
• Develop creative assets for Lumikai’s brand and ecosystem initiatives.
• Experiment with AI tools for design,
video editing and creative workflows.
• Stay on top of visual design and video trends, adapting them for a VC and technology brand.
What we’re looking for
• 1-3 years of experience in visual design, graphic design or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma, Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing tools.
• A good understanding of short-form video formats and social media trends.
• Strong visual sense, typography and attention to detail.
• The ability to translate a brief into a compelling visual concept.
• Curiosity about AI tools and a willingness to experiment with new workflows.
• The ability to work independently and manage quick-turnaround requirements.
