About us

V4 IT Services is an established Australian IT support company headquartered in Melbourne. We support thousands of home across Australia with remote and onsite technicians in every major city for IT related issues.

We're now launching a dedicated Business IT / Managed Services (MSP) division for Australian small and medium businesses. We're hiring a hands-on Technical Lead to build it from the ground up and grow with it.

This is a rare opportunity to design an MSP's technology stack, standards and team from day one. As the division scales, you'll build and lead a team of 10+ engineers and grow into Head of Technical Services.

What you'll do

Build the service

• Select, set up and configure our MSP toolset: RMM, PSA/ticketing, EDR/security, M365 backup, email security, documentation and password management

• Define our standard technology stack and security baseline for every client (M365, Entra ID, Intune, MFA, patching, backup, firewall standards)
• Write onboarding checklists, runbooks and documentation standards
• Secure our own workplace: privileged access, MFA, audit logging and least-privilege access for all technicians

Run the service

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex issues: Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Windows Server, networking, firewalls, VPNs and backups
• Lead, mentor and grow our India-based L1/L2 and onboarding team: ticket quality, SLAs, training and performance reviews
• Own new-client onboarding projects end to end, coordinating with our Melbourne field engineers for onsite work
• Run remote IT health checks for prospective clients and write clear audit reports and recommendations
• Build automation and scripts (PowerShell, RMM policies) to reduce ticket volume
