Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai and is responsible for managing the company’s core accounting and financial reporting activities. The role includes maintaining accurate general ledgers, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and ensuring timely bank reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and monitor cash flow and cost controls. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, GST, and other statutory requirements, as well as coordinating with auditors and supporting internal controls. The role will collaborate with management on financial analysis and provide insights that support business decisions and operational efficiency.
