About Elspec India
Elspec Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is the Indian subsidiary of Elspec Ltd, Israel, a global provider of power quality solutions, analysers and energy-saving systems. We are looking for a Pre/Post-Sales Support Engineer to join the technical support team of our Metering Division in Indore.
About the role
You will be the technical link between our sales team and our customers, agents, consultants and channel partners. Your job is to make sure every lead and project gets the most suitable metering solution. You will report to the Division Manager.
Responsibilities
• Support the sales team and channel partners with pre-sales technical responses through all project stages.
• Provide technical support for Elspec’s full metering product line and software.
• Assess customer requirements and define the right solution with the sales team.
• Analyse tenders and project requirements and prepare proposals.
• Join customer meetings, understand their needs and propose solutions.
• Present technical proposals, product demos and application notes covering Elspec’s PQ analysers,



PMU/DFR and PQSCADA Sapphire.
• Handle field visits for measurement discrepancies, software operation and technical issues.
• Manage support calls and emails, and support distributors during installation and commissioning.
• Build and share technical knowledge within the team.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 0–3 years of experience. Technical support or applications engineering experience is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of 3-phase systems, CT/PT, harmonics, metering and protection basics.
• Understanding of power quality (sags, swells, flicker, harmonics, unbalance, transients) and standards such as IEC 61000-4-30, EN 50160 and IEEE 519.
• Working knowledge of MODBUS, SCADA, IEC 61850 and TCP/IP basics.
• Robust English communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset, able to work independently, proactive with customers.
