Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Kanpur at the IIT Kanpur campus.



The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure that supports hospital operations, research centers, and academic facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points; monitoring network performance; diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues; and ensuring secure, reliable access to clinical and research systems. The role also involves collaborating with IT, clinical, and research teams to support new deployments, upgrades, and MedTech solutions, as well as documenting network topology, policies, and procedures. The Network Engineer will help maintain high availability and security standards for critical healthcare and research data across the ecosystem.
