Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Lead to drive business growth and market expansion across an assigned state. The role carries full accountability for business development, client relationship management, and revenue generation at the state level, requiring a deep understanding of the education sector, government policies, and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Drive overall business growth and market expansion for the assigned state
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve billing and order booking targets
• Monitor government schemes, policies, and budgets relevant to the education and training sector to identify business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and corporate stakeholders
• Support and review execution and monitoring of ongoing projects in the state
• Provide detailed business reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations to central leadership
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level government and business meetings





Qualifications

• Postgraduate preferred (MBA or equivalent is a plus)
• 6-12 years of experience in business development or sales
• Prior experience in the education sector, government projects, or IT solutions preferred
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes

• Strong leadership and decision-making ability at a state leadership level
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with government officials and key stakeholders
• Solid public speaking, proposal drafting, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively across the state, sometimes on short notice
