Role Description The Gold Loan Officer role at ESAF Small Finance Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Maharashtra, India. The Gold Loan Officer will handle end-to-end gold loan operations, including customer interaction, assessing gold ornaments, verifying documentation, and processing loan applications in compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. This role involves conducting accurate valuation of pledged gold, maintaining records, monitoring loan accounts, and ensuring timely interest and principal collections. The Gold Loan Officer will support branch sales efforts by promoting gold loan products, addressing customer queries, and providing clear information on terms, charges, and repayment options. The role also includes safeguarding pledged assets, adhering to security procedures, and collaborating with branch teams to achieve business and service quality targets.
