About the roleLegalWiz.in is hiring a Senior Accountant to work on our client account, an IT company in Ahmedabad. You will own the client’s full accounting cycle on Zoho Books: invoicing, payables and receivables, month-end and year-end close, and management reporting.
You will run the books independently day to day and work with the Chartered Accountant on close and finalisation. We also expect you to use Excel and AI tools to make reporting faster and analysis sharper.
Success in this role means accurate books, invoices and payments that go out on time, a close that never slips, and MIS that the client’s management can act on.
Work locationThis is an in office position at LegalWiz.in office (requires some days at client office), within Ahmedabad only. There is no work-from-home or hybrid option.
Key responsibilitiesInvoicing and accounts receivable• Raise accurate customer invoices on time in Zoho Books, based on contracts, statements of work, timesheets and milestones.
• Maintain the receivables ageing, follow up on overdue payments and report collection status regularly.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing queries with the delivery and account teams.
Accounts payable• Process vendor bills, software subscriptions and employee reimbursements with correct coding and approvals.
