Role Description The Assistant Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and receivable processes.



The Assistant Accountant will help prepare invoices, reconcile bank statements, track expenses, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and vendors, organizing financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and basic statutory requirements. The individual will work closely with senior accounting staff to support financial reporting and provide accurate, timely data for management decision-making.
Qualifications

• Robust foundational accounting skills, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office tools, especially Excel for spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
• Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, expense tracking, and basic tax and compliance
