We are looking for highly skilled, dynamic, hands-on, technically strong and commercially practical professional to join our team.

This role sits at the intersection of R&D; and on-the-floor manufacturing. The successful candidate should be able to take ownership and drive the formulation, development, conduct trials, testing, scale-up, and production of high-performance industrial paints, primers, and protective coatings. Work closely with manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulation Development & R&D;: Lead R&D; efforts in developing advanced industrial paints, primers, and protective coating formulations.
• Resin & Binder System Optimisation: Design, optimize, and evaluate various resin systems including alkyds, epoxies, acrylics, and polyurethanes.
• Laboratory Testing & Performance Evaluation: Plan and execute laboratory testing of coating formulations, including where applicable – Viscosity, Density / specific gravity, Fineness of grind, Pot life, Drying / curing characteristics
• Production Scale-Up:



Facilitate smooth technology transfer from lab-scale formulation to full-scale commercial manufacturing, actively troubleshooting shop-floor issues.
• Raw Material Sourcing: Maintain and leverage a robust professional network with chemical and paint ingredient suppliers to evaluate and source high-quality raw materials.
• Cost & Formulation Optimisation: Refine existing formulations to improve performance, durability, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Quality & Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation including – Formulation sheets, Batch manufacturing instructions, etc

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 10 + years of intensive, hands-on experience in an industrial paint manufacturing R&D; or production environment.
• Technical Depth: Comprehensive knowledge of industrial paint and primer chemistries, across various resin systems (alkyds, epoxies, polyurethanes, etc.).
• Supplier Network: Establish
