Applications are invited for the position of Research Personnel in an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

? Project Title:
"Sustainable Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing: Utilizing Recycled Waste Steel for Large-Scale Production"

This is a chance to work on sustainable metal additive manufacturing, turning recycled waste steel into large-scale WAAM components.

? Position: Research Personnel
? Duration: 89 days (can be extended until the end of the project if progress is satisfactory)
? Remuneration: ₹37,000 per month (consolidated)

? Essential Qualifications:
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or any allied branch, with First Division and GATE/NET
OR
• M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or any allied branch, with First Division and GATE/NET

✅ Desirable:




• Valid GATE score
• Knowledge of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM)
• Hands-on experience with characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, etc.
