Role Description The Tool Maker - Machining and Sheet Metal role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will manufacture, assemble, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for machining and sheet metal operations. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines, and performing fabrication, fitting, and finishing work on sheet metal components. The role also involves inspecting tools and parts for accuracy, performing preventive maintenance on tooling, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling issues and improve processes. The Tool Maker will ensure that all work complies with quality, safety, and organizational standards.
