About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Network Engineer with deep domain expertise in enterprise-grade Wi-Fi and wireless communication technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, troubleshooting, and optimizing our global wireless infrastructure.
You will work closely with security, systems, and global IT teams to ensure high-performance, ultra-reliable, and secure Wi-Fi connectivity across our offices, campuses, and remote facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Wireless Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise-grade WLAN solutions, utilizing advanced predictive and in office RF site surveys (using tools like Ekahau).
Implementation & Configuration: Configure and manage enterprise wireless controllers, access points (APs), and cloud management platforms (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Aruba Central, Juniper Mist).
Optimization & Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and tune RF environments (channel allocation, power levels, channel width, and band steering)
to mitigate interference, reduce latency, and maximize client throughput.
Security & Access Control: Implement robust wireless security frameworks (802.1X, WPA3-Enterprise, RADIUS/TACACS+, rogue AP detection, and secure guest access segmentation).
Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Serve as the final escalation point (Tier 3/4) for complex wireless connectivity, roaming issues, authentication failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Automation & Monitoring: Leverage automation scripts (Python, Ansible) and network telemetry to streamline configuration management, track network KPIs, and automate routine operational tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Professional Experience & Wireless Expertise
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering with a heavy specialization in wireless/Wi-Fi design and operations.
Deep technical knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (
