Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive at DreamSequence, Mumbai. You will build and run our current business pipeline. That covers finding the brands we want to work with, getting us in the room with them, and helping turn those conversations into long-term retainer partnerships.

What you’ll do
• Win long-term retainer partnerships (social media, content, strategy) with brands we choose to work with. Retainers are the priority; projects are a bonus.
• Research target brands and categories, and build a qualified pipeline of decision-makers across marketing, brand, digital and employer branding teams
• Run outreach through referrals, your network and cold approaches, over email, LinkedIn and in person
• Set up and prepare for pitch meetings, including brand research, credentials,



and follow-ups
• Work with leadership and the creative team on proposals, scopes of work, and pricing for retainers and projects
• Own the CRM by tracking every lead, conversation and next step, and share a weekly pipeline update
• Hand over signed accounts smoothly to the client servicing team
• Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients
• Represent DreamSequence at industry events, launches, and networking forums
• Support outreach to international brands as we expand beyond India

What we’re looking for
• 3-4 years in business development or new business at an ad agency, digital agency, content studio, or production house
• A track record of winning retainer accounts, not just one-off projects
• An active network across brand marketing teams in FMCG, consumer, lifestyle or similar categories
• A working understanding of social media, content and the video production process,
