Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior ASIC/SoC Design Verification Engineer for a part time, remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, functional verification, AMBA protocols, and coverage-driven verification across IP, subsystem, and SoC environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain reusable SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments.
• Design and execute constrained-random, directed, stress, negative, and corner-case test scenarios.
• Verify AMBA AXI4, AXI4-Lite, AHB/AHB-Lite, and APB protocols.
• Develop SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), functional coverage models, scoreboards, and reference models.
• Perform RTL debugging, regression analysis, coverage-hole analysis, and coverage closure.
• Support UVM Register Abstraction Layer (RAL), reset, clock, interrupt, and low-power verification.
• Conduct power-aware verification using UPF concepts, including isolation, retention, and power-state transitions.
• Collaborate with RTL, architecture,



and cross-functional engineering teams to achieve verification signoff.

Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• ASIC, SoC, IP, and subsystem design verification.
• AMBA protocols: AXI4, AXI4-Lite, AHB, and APB.
• SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and coverage-driven verification.
• Functional coverage, code coverage, and coverage closure.
• RTL debugging and regression management.
• Experience with Synopsys VCS, Verdi, Questa, or Cadence Xcelium.
• Python, Shell scripting, and Linux-based verification workflows.
• Knowledge of UPF and low-power verification is an advantage.

Eligibility
• 7+ years of relevant ASIC/SoC Design Verification experience.
• Proven hands-on experience developing UVM testbenches and debugging RTL.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time, remote contract engagement.
• Candidates must be comfortable with the agreed project schedule and deliverables.
