Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Dehradun, responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion within the assigned territory. This role involves managing distributor and retailer relationships, ensuring product availability and visibility, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets. The Area Sales Manager will regularly visit market outlets, monitor competitor activities, oversee promotional activities, and provide timely sales forecasts and reports.



The position also includes coaching and supporting field sales personnel, coordinating with marketing and supply chain teams, and resolving customer issues to maintain strong business relationships.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in FMCG or snack food sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding area-based targets.
• Strong skills in territory management, channel management, and distributor/retailer relationship building.
• Ability to analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and use insights to adjust sales strategies.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging partners and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of trade marketing, in-store promotions, and merchandising best practices.
• Comfort with on-the-ground market visits, fieldwork, and regular travel within the Dehradun region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or
