Role Description The Assistant Manager – Purchase will oversee end-to-end procurement activities in the pharmaceutical supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, packaging, and services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Maharashtra, India, responsible for vendor identification, negotiation, contracting, and performance monitoring to maintain quality and compliance standards.



The role includes managing purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, coordinating with production, quality, and finance teams, and optimizing purchase processes to support business goals. The Assistant Manager – Purchase will also analyze market trends, evaluate alternative suppliers, and implement best practices in pharma procurement and supply chain management. In addition, the role involves mentoring junior team members, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting audits and regulatory requirements related to purchasing.
