Key Responsibilities

* Assess children’s learning abilities, developmental needs, strengths, and areas requiring support.
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each child’s specific needs.
* Provide structured, goal-oriented educational interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental delays.
* Support the development of communication, cognitive, pre-academic, academic, social, and adaptive life skills.
* Use appropriate teaching strategies, visual aids, activity-based learning, and positive reinforcement techniques.
* Monitor children’s progress, maintain session records, and prepare periodic progress reports.
* Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, behaviour therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic child development.
* Guide parents and caregivers on home-based learning strategies and activities.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, supportive, and child-friendly learning environment.




* Participate in team meetings, case discussions, parent consultations, and training sessions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, such as B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent relevant qualification.
* Relevant RCI-recognized qualifications and registration, where applicable to the role.
* Knowledge of individualized education plans, child development, and inclusive teaching practices.
* Strong observation, communication, documentation, and classroom management skills.
* Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
* Freshers with the relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
