THE OPPORTUNITY / ABOUT THE ROLE:
California Burrito is looking for an enthusiastic Area Manager with robust leadership and operational skills to oversee existing and upcoming restaurants. The ideal candidate should have experience in the QSR or FMCG industry and be responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and team performance while ensuring California Burrito’s brand standards and customer expectations are consistently met.

WHAT WILL YOU OWN?
1) LEAD GREAT RESTAURANTS
• Own the performance of your allotted restaurants and Strive for Excellence across operations, hospitality, food safety, sanitation and cleanliness.
• Lead from the front. Model great hospitality, coach restaurant teams and remove anything getting in the way of a great guest experience.
• Empower teams to resolve guest concerns quickly, thoughtfully and for the long term.
• Spot problems and opportunities early, build clear action plans and make sure they get done.

BUILD TEAMS THAT KEEP GROWING

3) DRIVE HEALTHY GROWTH
• Own sales, costs and profitability across your restaurants, monitoring every cost line against the annual business plan.
• Regularly review performance with your direct reports, conduct gap analysis and help every restaurant stay on target and achieve its bottom-line incentive.
• Understand and execute all in-store marketing promotions, while sharing relevant market-level inputs for national marketing across digital, print and other channels.
