Axio is a hardware product studio in Jaipur building wearable medical devices and connected electronics, end to end, from schematic to shipped product. We run our own SMT line and do design, testing, and assembly in-house.
We’re hiring a hands-on electronics engineer who’s comfortable at the bench and in the EDA tool.
What you’ll do
• Design schematics and PCB layouts (KiCad preferred; Altium a plus)
• Bring up new boards: power-on, rail checks, debug, rework
• Flash firmware (SWD/JTAG, nRF/STM32-class MCUs) and run functional tests
• Diagnose and repair faults on prototype and production boards
• Hand-solder and rework fine-pitch SMD parts (0402, QFN, BGA rework a plus)
• Document test results and failure analysis
Must have
• Robust soldering and rework skills, SMD and through-hole
• PCB design experience, with at least one board taken from schematic to working hardware
• Solid circuit fundamentals:
Ohm’s law, KVL/KCL, diodes, BJTs, MOSFETs (switching and biasing), basic op-amp circuits
• Comfortable with a DMM, oscilloscope, bench supply, and logic analyzer
• Able to read datasheets and trace a fault to its root cause
Good to have
• Experience with battery-powered or low-power designs (LiPo charging, LDO/buck)
• Familiarity with I2C/SPI/UART debugging
• Basic embedded C or scripting for test automation
• Exposure to BLE devices or wearables
