We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Banking Platforms

The Opportunity

The Head of Banking Platforms is responsible for establishing and scaling AI-native engineering capabilities across the organization. This role leads the adoption of up-to-date AI-assisted software engineering practices, leveraging AI platforms, ownership of governance standards, and delivery frameworks to improve software quality, engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and product innovation.

Global Banking Technology is responsible for delivering the technology strategy, platforms,



products and engineering capabilities that underpin a number of CIB’s front line value streams. The organisation supports critical client-facing and revenue-generating businesses including Capital Markets & Advisory (CMA), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Infrastructure Finance & Sustainability (HIF&S;), Omnia platform, Marketing and Innovation Banking. It delivers digital capabilities that enable relationship managers, product specialists and clients to originate, manage and grow client relationships, while driving operational efficiency, resiliency and innovation across the CIB and wider franchise.

Working across multiple engineering domains and technology stacks within Global Banking Technology, the role acts as a strategic and engineering/technical leader enabling teams to safely and effectively integrate AI into the software development lifecycle and broader technology estate.
