Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator supports logistics coordination across Visy Recycling by coordinating Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) services, seasonal and public holiday planning, freight bookings, third-party processor movements and operational reporting.

The role works closely with internal teams, suppliers and service providers to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements. The position also supports performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is required to work Thursday to Monday and on selected Indian public holidays, with time in lieu provided where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
CDS Logistics Coordination: Coordinate CDS services across the Visy fleet, including bookings, schedule changes and service optimisation. Monitor Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) capacity and service alerts and coordinate required actions. Liaise with Fleet Managers, Fleet Supervisors and external service providers to resolve service issues and coordinate urgent requirements.



Escalate service delivery issues as required.
Seasonal and Public Holiday Planning: Coordinate seasonal and public holiday service planning for Commercial and Industrial (C&I;) customers. Manage customer communication, collect service requirements, confirm supplier availability and coordinate bookings. Monitor supplier performance and escalate service issues where required. Work with Business Support and IDT teams to support scheduling and runsheet preparation.
Supply Contract Logistics Coordination: Coordinate freight movements for purchased supply contracts in line with agreed tonnage plans. Create load bookings, allocate transport providers and issue booking confirmations. Monitor load receipts and investigate discrepancies or missing loads. Escalate operational issues to the Supply Manager.
Third Party Processor (3 PP) Coordination: Coordinate stock returns from third-party processors in partnership with Vendor Manager
