What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):
As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will lead the modernization of business reporting and analytics at CIBC, partnering closely with the Analytics Head Office in Toronto and key business stakeholders.

This role sits within the business intelligence function and is focused on business reporting, dashboarding, analytics, and migration of business-owned reporting assets and logic to modern cloud-based environments. You will help transform legacy SAS/SQL reporting into scalable, business-ready reporting solutions using SQL, Python, and Power BI or Tableau.

In addition to the existing BI responsibilities, this role requires strong experience in Azure Databricks, experience in building data products, and practical use of AI in previous roles to improve reporting quality, productivity, or modernization outcomes.

This is not a backend ETL pipeline engineering role or a source-system data migration role. The primary focus is on management reporting, dashboard development, ad hoc analysis, reporting logic modernization,



business insight delivery, and enabling modern BI capabilities through cloud-based tools and data products.
