Supplier Quality Engineer Ashok Leyland

- 3–8 years of experience in Supplier Quality / Incoming Quality, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Robust practical knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 8D, 5 Why, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA.

- Good knowledge of QC measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Gauges, CMM, etc.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T;.

- Experience in supplier audits, process audits, incoming inspection and supplier quality improvement.

- Responsible for handling supplier rejections, line quality issues, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations for audits, inspections, problem-solving and follow-up activities.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering with good communication and analytical skills.
