Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, maintain, and optimize databases supporting enterprise applications and reporting systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL/PL/SQL, database design, data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning, and ETL processes, with a strong understanding of data integrity, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and database objects including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL/PL/SQL queries for application, reporting, and data processing requirements.
- Design and maintain ETL processes for integrating and transforming data from multiple sources.
- Perform database performance monitoring, query optimization, and performance tuning to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business and data requirements.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely and effective resolutions.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability across database systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models,



database schemas, stored procedures, and technical specifications.
- Participate in database development, enhancement, migration, and optimization activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 57 years of hands-on experience in database development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Good understanding of database design, normalization, data modeling, and database architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Indexes, and Complex Queries.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Query Optimization and Database Performance Tuning.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance and data-related issues.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, or other relational database platforms.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise applications is an added advantage.
