We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager Contract & Legal to oversee contract administration, claims, and legal dispute resolutions for our large-scale National Highway construction projects. The ideal candidate will combine solid civil engineering fundamentals with specialized expertise in infrastructure contract management, FIDIC conditions of contract, and arbitration proceedings.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Education: B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering AND a Post Graduate qualification from NICMAR (e.g., PGP-ACM). An additional degree in Law (LL.B.) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience: Around 12 years of progressive experience in infrastructure construction contract management.
- Technical Skills: Expert understanding of NHAI procedures, MoRTH specifications, CPWD/FIDIC contract conditions, and the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contract Administration:



End-to-end management of EPC/Item-Rate/HAM highway contracts from inception to closeout. Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.
- FIDIC Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FIDIC guidelines (Red, Yellow, or Silver books) and NHAI concession agreements.
- Claims & Variations Management: Conduct detailed delay analysis and prepare comprehensive Extension of Time (EOT) and prolongation cost claims. Evaluate variation orders and deviation statements.
- Arbitration & Dispute Resolution: Lead arbitration matters and dispute resolution boards (DRB). Draft legal notices, statements of claims, and defense responses while coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Legal Correspondence: Draft and review highly critical contractual letters, MoUs, amendments, and client replies to safeguard company interests.
