Role & responsibilities

Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites and Shopify stores.

Customise WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes according to project requirements.

Build responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly websites.

Convert design layouts into functional web pages.

Manage Shopify products, collections, navigation, and store settings.

Troubleshoot website issues and ensure smooth website performance. Perform website updates, backups, security checks, and maintenance. Integrate third-party plugins, apps, APIs, payment gateways, and other tools when required.

Optimise websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and other developers to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills

1 2 years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

Positive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.





Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and CMS management.

Hands-on experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, and Shopify customisation.

Understanding of responsive web design and mobile optimisation.

Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimisation.

Experience with domain, hosting, DNS, SSL, and website deployment. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Good to Have

Experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, and custom WordPress development.

Knowledge of Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with Git/GitHub.

Basic knowledge of UI/UX and Figma.

Experience with website analytics and performance tools.
