Role & responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Lead Management

- Acquire recent CA/SA/SAL/TD accounts through catchment working, cold calling, referrals, and branch leadgeneration initiatives.
- Engage with branch teams and verticals to fulfil CASA/liability leads within defined TAT.

Customer Interaction & Product Explanation

- Explain banking products, features, benefits, and guide customers towards suitable solutions based on their needs.
- Provide quick resolutions for customer queries (balance enquiry, cheque status, passbook/statement).

Account Opening & Compliance

- Assist customers with account opening, documentation, service requests, and onboarding satisfaction.
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML norms and documentation accuracy during sourcing.

CrossSell & Revenue Generation

- Crosssell PL/HL/BL/GL/TWL, insurance, mutual funds, credit cards, and Demat/HSL to enhance customer engagement.
- Achieve monthly sales and crosssell productivity targets assigned by the branch.

Activation & Customer Followups

- Follow up with newly sourced customers to support account activation,



funding, and product usage.
- Promote digital banking platformsNetBanking, MobileBanking, DBC—and assist customers with registration and usage.

Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain daily sales activity records, customer followup logs, and CRMNext/FTS updates.
- Coordinate effectively with branch operations, CX team, and product teams for smooth service delivery.

Field & Branch Support

- Participate actively in catchment sales activities and branch promotional events.
- Support branch service operations, deliverables management, and customer servicing at welcome desk when required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Any Graduate
- Experience: Freshers OR candidates with up to 5 years of experience in Sales, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Fintech, Telecom, Retail or other customer-facing sales roles.
- Freshers with a keen interest in building a career in Sales are encouraged to apply.
