SMFG India Credit Co. Ltd. is conducting a Walk-in Drive for Assistant Manager Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets professionals with experience in Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services industries.

Role: Assistant Manager Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes including vendor invoice processing, payment accounting, invoice verification, and vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor vendor outstanding balances and ensure timely processing of payments as per agreed terms.
- Ensure accurate accounting of vendor invoices, advances, reimbursements, credit notes, and payment settlements.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies with internal departments and external vendors.
- Prepare Accounts Payable MIS reports and support management reporting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls for all payable transactions.

Fixed Assets

- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register (FAR).
- Handle asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, retirements, and depreciation accounting.
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of assets across locations.
- Conduct periodic physical verification of assets and reconcile with accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies,



audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for asset-related audits and documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Accounting, and General Ledger Accounting.
- Experience in customer reconciliations, collections accounting, capitalization, and depreciation accounting.
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and MIS reporting experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Banking, NBFC, BFSI, or Financial Services industry.
- Qualification: B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, or equivalent.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
- Candidates must be currently employed (unemployed candidates will not be considered).
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday.
- Work Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
