Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Studio GCT.

The Video

Editor will assemble, refine, and finalize video projects from raw footage, ensuring smooth pacing, clear narrative, and high production quality. Daily tasks include editing clips, synchronizing audio, applying transitions and effects, and preparing videos for various platforms and formats. The role also involves collaborating with creative directors and designers, incorporating feedback, and maintaining brand guidelines and project timelines.

The Video

Editor will work closely with the production team to support pre-production planning and post-production workflows, delivering assets that meet technical standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for short-form and long-form content.




- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to achieve consistent and appealing visual styles.
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and visual enhancements.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for web and social platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication and responsiveness in a distributed team.
- Relevant experience in creative agencies, production studios, or similar environments; a portfolio or reel demonstrating previous work is required.
- Preferred: degree or coursework in film, multimedia, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
