Role Description The Video Editing Intern (UNPAID) is a full-time remote role supporting the creative and marketing teams with video content production. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage into clear, engaging videos for social media, websites, and campaigns, as well as organizing and managing video assets. The intern will assist with basic color grading, adding motion graphics or text overlays, and adapting content into multiple formats and aspect ratios.

The role also involves collaborating with designers and copywriters to ensure visual consistency, following brand guidelines, and meeting project timelines.



This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation while working closely with mentors in a collaborative, fully remote workplace.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in video production and video editing, with the ability to assemble footage into coherent, compelling narratives.
- Basic proficiency in video color grading and motion graphics to enhance visual quality and storytelling.
- Experience or familiarity with graphics and visual design tools to support on-screen elements and brand consistency.
- Comfort using common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and willingness to learn in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Interest in digital marketing, social media content, and storytelling; prior portfolio or sample projects are highly beneficial.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in film, media, communications, design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
