About the role

We’re looking for a VP – Delivery Excellence to lead large-scale technology and delivery operations across multiple accounts and strategic engagements — owning delivery leadership, P&L;, customer satisfaction and people leadership, while reporting to the Executive Vice President.

Key responsibilities

Delivery & Operational Leadership

- Lead end-to-end delivery across Technology, Product, Content, Engineering, QA, DevOps and Operations
- Establish strong execution discipline and proactively resolve delivery risks and escalations
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery effectiveness, quality and productivity

Business & Financial Management

- Own revenue, margins, costs and profitability for the delivery organization
- Partner with Sales/Account Management on growth, renewals and expansion
- Drive resource utilization, capacity planning and cost optimization

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the strategic interface between enterprise clients and executive leadership
- Lead executive-level governance reviews and own escalation resolution
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention and account growth

Technology & Engineering Delivery

- Partner with Engineering/Product on SDLC, cloud, DevOps, release and deployment execution
- Ensure integrated delivery coordination between Content and Technology teams
- Set engineering standards for quality,



scalability and reliability

People & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead large, diverse teams across Content, Product, Engineering, QA and Delivery
- Mentor Delivery/Program/Engineering leaders and build succession pipelines
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and execution excellence

Performance & Operational Excellence

- Own org-wide KPIs, dashboards and management reporting across accounts
- Drive governance mechanisms and provide executive-level business insights
- Champion automation, analytics and AI to improve operational outcomes

Must-have skills

- Technology delivery & operational leadership at scale
- P&L;, revenue and margin management
- Client and executive stakeholder management
- Product/engineering delivery with strong SDLC and DevOps understanding
- Cross-functional and people leadership with a track record of talent development

Positive to have

- EdTech, Digital Learning, Publishing or SaaS background
- Exposure to LMS/content technology ecosystems
- Global delivery models and multi-country stakeholder management

Preferred background

- 20+ years overall, 15+ years in technology/delivery leadership
- Portfolio/revenue managed of USD 45M+; team size of 500–1,200
- Career started in technology/engineering, progressed into leadership
- BE/BTech/BCA/MCA in IT or Computer Science; MBA a plus
