Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor Intern at Lakshya Venture. The intern will assist in editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and educational materials tailored for startup audiences. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and assembling raw footage, adding transitions, text, and basic motion graphics, and optimizing audio and visuals to maintain brand consistency.

The Video Editor

Intern will collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand project requirements, follow creative briefs, and meet deadlines. The role also involves organizing media assets, exporting videos in appropriate formats,



and providing creative input to improve engagement and storytelling.

Qualifications

- Video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Basic motion graphics and visual effects skills using software like After Effects or comparable tools.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition, with attention to detail in cuts and transitions.
- Fundamental audio editing skills, including noise reduction, sound leveling, and syncing audio with video.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt editing style to match different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Good organizational skills for managing project files, version control, and media libraries.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a remote workplace.
- Self-motivated, able to take feedback constructively, and comfortable working with deadlines.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in media, film, communications, design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Prior experience with creating or editing short-form content, reels, or explainer videos is a plus.
