Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, water samples, and other relevant samples.
2. Conduct environmental monitoring, including air sampling, surface monitoring, and personnel monitoring.
3. Perform microbial limit tests, microbial enumeration, and sterility testing, wherever applicable.
4. Monitor purified water systems and review microbiological test results.
5. Maintain laboratory hygiene, equipment calibration status, and microbiology instruments.
6. Prepare and maintain SOPs, laboratory records, worksheets, logbooks, and test reports.
7. Follow GMP, GLP, data integrity, biosafety, and contamination-control practices.
8. Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations,



and microbiological failures under the applicable procedure.
9. Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and validation activities.
10. Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and disposal of microbiological cultures and laboratory waste.

Preferred candidate profile

- Microbiological testing and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and pharmaceutical microbiology.
- Environmental monitoring and water testing.
- Documentation, investigation, and data integrity.
- Laboratory equipment handling and contamination control
