Role & responsibilities

- Supervise sheet-metal production and press-shop activities during the assigned shift.
- Handle/supervise Stamping Machines, Progressive Dies, AMADA Turret Punch Machines and Press Brake Machines.
- Monitor sheet-metal processes including cutting, punching, bending and forming.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.
- Allocate and manage shift-wise manpower and operator productivity.
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, rejection and production performance.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC and other departments for issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, quality and safety requirements.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, productivity improvement and rejection reduction.
- Maintain production reports and ensure proper shift handover.
- Handle shop-floor problems and escalate critical issues appropriately.





Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering with 2-8 years of experience in sheet metal / press shop / metal production.

Candidates should have hands-on or supervisory experience in stamping machines, progressive dies, AMADA Turret Punch machines, Press Brake, punching, bending and forming processes. Should be experienced in shift handling, manpower management, production target achievement, OEE, downtime/rejection control, quality, 5S, Kaizen and shop-floor coordination. Preference for candidates from electrical switchgear, sheet metal, automotive, home appliances or engineering manufacturing industries
