Hub In-Charge Job Description

Role: Hub In-Charge / Hub Manager
Function: Operations – Logistics / Last Mile
Experience: 2–6 years in logistics, e-commerce, courier, or last-mile operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end daily operations of the delivery hub.
- Ensure smooth inbound, sorting, scanning, dispatch, and delivery operations.
- Plan and manage manpower, shift allocation, attendance, and productivity.
- Monitor daily shipment volumes, TAT, SLA, delivery performance, and pending shipments.
- Manage delivery executives/riders and ensure proper route allocation and productivity.
- Track RTO, undelivered shipments, NDR, ageing, and exceptions and take corrective actions.
- Ensure 100% scan compliance, shipment accuracy, and proper handling of shipments.
- Monitor hub-level KPIs and prepare daily MIS/reports.
- Coordinate with line-haul, transport, customer service, vendors, and central operations teams.




- Handle operational escalations and conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
- Control operational costs including manpower, overtime, and vendor expenses.
- Train, guide, and motivate the hub team to achieve daily business targets.
- Ensure inventory/shipment reconciliation and minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies.
