Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Technical Manager to lead our engineering and design department in India. In this critical leadership role, you will head fan-related engineering, oversee aerodynamic and mechanical calculations, and lead detailed design processes. You will collaborate directly with our central engineering headquarters in Germany, serving as the technical authority and liaison between local design execution and global engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the local engineering and design team across all fan-related engineering activities.
- Perform, verify, and validate core engineering calculations for industrial fans and rotating machinery (aerodynamic performance, structural integrity, shaft sizing, bearing life, vibration, and critical speed analysis).
- Oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle, including 3D CAD modeling, detailed manufacturing drawings,bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, reporting directly to the Technical Department in Germany to align design practices, design tools, and engineering standards.
- Drive custom-engineered solutions tailored to international client specifications, ensuring compliance with global standards (such as ISO, API, AMCA, or DIN/EN).




- Support manufacturing, quality, procurement, and testing teams with technical troubleshooting, drawing clarifications, and root-cause failure analyses.
- Optimize existing product designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and operational reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Aerodynamics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 8-12+ years of core engineering and design experience in industrial fans, blowers, compressors, turbines, or equivalent heavy rotating machinery.
- Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanical design, stress analysis (FEA), and rotordynamics.
- Design Tools: Proficient in standard 3D CAD platforms (e.g., SolidWorks) and simulation/analysis tools (FEA/CFD).
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading, coaching, and supervising design engineers and draftsmen.
- Communication & Collaboration: Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) with experience collaborating closely with international engineering teams.
- Travel: Occasional domestic travel to client or manufacturing sites, and international travel to Germany for technical alignments and training.
