We're Hiring Technical Drafts person with Site Supervision

About Us

Amogh Designs is an architecture and interior design studio. We have delivered 150+ residential, retail, hospitality and commercial projects across India and Melbourne. We take each project from concept to site execution, and we're looking for a detail-oriented technical professional to strengthen our drawing and site teams.

Role Description

You will prepare accurate, buildable technical drawings and documentation. You will also supervise execution on site so that the design intent is delivered with quality. The role suits someone who is equally comfortable on CAD and on the site.

The Technical Drafts Person is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects or designers.

The Technical Drafts

Person will convert conceptual designs into precise CAD drawings, update and revise drawings as projects progress, and ensure that all documentation adheres to relevant standards and guidelines. Daily tasks include coordinating with design and project teams, maintaining drawing records and file management, and producing clear layouts, sections, and detail drawings for execution on site. The role also requires close collaboration with engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve design queries and support accurate implementation of project plans.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (B.Arch / B.Des / Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent).
- 2-3 years of experience in architectural and interior working drawings and site execution.
- Proven experience across residential, retail, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in technical drafting software such as AutoCAD,or similar CAD tools (essential), with strong skills in creating detailed plans,



elevations, and sections for interior as well as architecture projects.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, finishes, and joinery.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting drawings and coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret Technical working drawings.
- Familiarity with BOQs, quantity take-offs, and site management.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements and annotations, and ability to maintain organized drawing and document files.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, engineers, and site teams, including the ability to interpret and clarify technical information.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and adapt to evolving design requirements.
- Prior experience in an architectural, interior design, or construction firm will be considered beneficial.

- Experienced draftsperson with site supervision skills is must.
