Role Description The Team Lead role at Shriram Life Insurance is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing a team to achieve sales, service, or operational targets. Day-to-day activities include assigning and monitoring tasks, guiding team members on processes and best practices, and ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking performance metrics, preparing periodic reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead will also help resolve escalated customer issues, provide regular feedback and coaching to team members, and contribute to implementing digital tools and workflows that enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, supervision, or coordination roles, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a related sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate distributed or remote teams.
- Comfort with digital platforms, CRM or policy administration systems, and basic data analysis for tracking performance and preparing reports.
- Ability to manage priorities in a part-time, remote setup, with robust organizational and time-management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance or leadership are an advantage.
- Prior experience working with diverse customer segments, including rural or semi-urban markets, is beneficial.
