Job Title : Subject Matter Expert (SME) - B2B Marketing Manager

Role Summary :

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and maintain high-quality online course content for the Microsoft Professional Certificate in B2B Marketing Strategy and Management. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in demand generation, marketing automation, CRM systems, ABM strategy, and AI-assisted workflows, paired with a genuine passion for teaching and energetic on-camera instruction.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Discovery & Alignment: Validate Job Task Analysis (JTA) documents, Coursera In-Demand Topic (IDT) frameworks, and Program Architectures to ensure content directly aligns with core skills required for entry-level B2B marketing roles.
- Content Development & AI Augmentation: Create comprehensive instructional materials including case studies, campaign briefs, concept guides, and prompt workflows. Substantively enhance AI-generated drafts with first-hand B2B campaign scenarios, funnel friction points, CAC/LTV targets, and real-world practitioner context.
- Core Technical Instruction: Develop content across Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definition, multistakeholder buyer journey mapping, trigger-based nurture journeys, lead scoring, account selection, and Power BI marketing dashboard creation.
- Activity Testing & Lab Validation: Complete all learner activities end-to-end as a student across Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Dynamics 365 Sales, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Power BI, Excel, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Copilot to verify platform feasibility, UI accuracy, timing, and dataset integrity.
- Assessment Design & AI Audit: Design technical quizzes, marketing plan critiques, and capstone projects. Formulate rubrics to evaluate strategic alignment, MarTech tool execution, lead routing SLAs,



and human-in-the-loop brand safety auditing for Copilot outputs.
- Multimedia & Video Production: Appear on camera to lead instructional video modules and campaign walkthroughs, while building synthetic customer datasets, persona templates, and Copilot prompt libraries for student labs.
- Governance & Safeguards: Enforce strict PII data privacy rules, ensure all case studies rely on anonymized or synthetic data, establish clear sales-marketing handoff protocols, and integrate Microsoft Responsible AI principles.
- Review, QA & Collaboration: Provide actionable in-line feedback and proposed fixes in shared documents, partnering closely with Instructional Designers, MarTech SMEs, and production teams while upholding Microsoft brand and AI governance guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required:

- 5–8 years of professional experience in B2B Marketing, Demand Generation, or Marketing Operations, including 3+ years designing multi-channel B2B campaigns and ABM strategies.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience incorporating AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot) into daily marketing workflows.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights/Sales, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Sales Navigator, Power BI, and Excel.
- Dynamic on-camera presentation capabilities to record instructional video modules with authentic conviction.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (8+ years of relevant domain leadership accepted in lieu of degree).

Preferred:

- Master's degree (MBA or MS in Marketing Analytics).
- Background in corporate training, university instruction, or creating educational public video content.

Certification (Required/Preferred) :

- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Functional Consultant Associate (Preferred)
- LinkedIn Marketing Solutions / Sales Navigator Certification (Preferred)
