Job Summary

As we expand our services with the launch of Global Square, our new overseas education venture, we are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and student-focused Study Abroad Consultant to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about international education, possess excellent communication and counselling skills, and be enthusiastic about helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a new venture.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students on international education opportunities, universities, courses, and country-specific requirements.
- Assess students’ academic profiles, career goals, and financial backgrounds to recommend suitable study options.
- Guide students through university selection, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and application deadlines.
- Assist with application documentation, including Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and academic records.
- Provide guidance on language proficiency tests, student visa procedures, financial documentation, and pre-departure requirements.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and admission progress.
- Coordinate with universities, international education partners, and internal teams.
- Develop positive relationships with students and parents through professional counselling and regular communication.
- Work towards assigned student enrolment, application,



and conversion targets.
- Stay updated on international admission policies, scholarships, university intakes, and visa requirements.
- Contribute to the growth, visibility, and success of Global Square through proactive student engagement and counselling activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience in overseas education counselling or student recruitment is preferred; enthusiastic freshers with relevant skills may also apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong counselling, follow-up, and student relationship management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, target-oriented, and growth-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic workplace.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in study abroad consultancy, international admissions, education sales, or student recruitment will have an added advantage.
