- Perform static and dynamic stress analysis of components and equipment subjected to pressure, thermal, wind, seismic, and other loadings using ANSYS.
- Determine natural frequencies using commercial analysis software and/or in-house developed tools.
- Analyze rotor dynamic behavior using commercial software and/or in-house developed tools.
- Perform analyses in accordance with applicable international codes, standards, and customer-specific requirements & Prepare analysis reports as technical documentation for client submission.
- Recommend design modifications, improvements to design, and construction engineers based on analytical findings.
- Develop new or modify existing software/firmware tools required for structural and rotor agile analysis.
- Work independently or under partial/full technical guidance, depending on project requirements.
- Regularly communicate project status and progress updates to clients and other stakeholders.
Travel domestically / internationally to customer, manufacturing, testing, and operational sites as required by project and customer needs
Preferred candidate profile
- Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics & FEA
- Experience with ANSYS or similar FEA packages
- Knowledge of programming in C++ & JAVA (optional)
