- Direct Procurement is the core requirement ownership of supplier base, sourcing, supplier development, cost, quality, delivery and localization; not inventory, warehousing or routine supply-chain procurement.
- Engineering background: BE/B.Tech, preferably Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering / Electrical / Electronics from a credible institution.
- Manufacturing knowledge: strong preference for Sheet Metal Fabrication, Stamping/Press Tools and Plastic Injection Moulding. Exposure to sheet metal alone can also be considered.
- Strategic sourcing: candidates must have hands-on experience in part costing, commercials, negotiations, supplier development and localization, preferably with mechanical components
