Role Description The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the hospital store, including receiving, storing, and issuing medical supplies, consumables, and equipment. This full-time, on-site role in Indore involves maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with vendors and internal departments, and ensuring timely replenishment of items.

The Store

Incharge will implement procedures to minimize loss and damage, verify invoices and delivery notes, and support compliance with hospital policies and quality standards. The role also includes organizing the store layout, supervising store staff as applicable, and responding promptly to internal requests to support uninterrupted clinical operations.





Qualifications

- Strong store management and inventory control skills, including experience with Store Management and basic record-keeping systems.
- Ability to maintain high standards of Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction when interacting with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with clinical teams, vendors, and administrative staff, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to apply them to reduce stock discrepancies, wastage, and unauthorized use of materials.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling multiple items, orders, and documentation accurately.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, inventory software) and comfort working with digital records.
- Prior experience in a hospital, healthcare, or medical store setting is preferred.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Indore, manage time effectively, and maintain reliability in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
