Role Description The Stock Checker is responsible for accurately counting, recording, and verifying stock levels of drugs and surgical products in the warehouse and storage areas. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine stock taking, monitoring inventory discrepancies, assisting with inventory control processes, and updating records in inventory management systems. The role also involves coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure stock availability,
supporting basic customer service inquiries related to stock, and helping maintain clean and organized storage spaces.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil, requiring consistent presence during operational hours.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Stock Taking and Inventory Management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and basic record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and basic computer literacy are beneficial.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, medical wholesale, or warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Ability to stand, move, and handle stock safely throughout the workday.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; additional training in inventory or logistics is a plus.
