Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse

Company: Madha Medical College & Research Institute

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, supervise nursing activities, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care, guiding junior nursing staff, and maintaining safe and effective nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients according to established clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during clinical procedures and medical emergencies.
- Supervise, guide, and support junior nurses and other nursing staff.
- Ensure proper documentation of nursing assessments, medication administration, and patient care.
- Maintain infection control practices and adhere to patient safety protocols.
- Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Monitor compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, and quality standards, including NABH requirements.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.




- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medication, and discharge instructions.
- Report clinical incidents, medication errors, and patient safety concerns to the appropriate authority.

Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety, and infection control practices.

Experience
- Minimum 3–5years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in a multispecialty hospital is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in supervising or guiding junior nursing staff is preferred.

Salary
- ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience).
