Role Expectations

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android and React Native development.

The ideal candidate should be strong in building scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications, with experience taking applications from development through deployment and production support.

You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Android and React Native applications.
- Build scalable and high-performance mobile applications for enterprise and consumer use cases.
- Develop reusable components and maintain clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication systems, third-party services, and backend platforms.
- Work with native Android capabilities and integrate native modules with React Native where required.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, local storage, encryption, and secure API communication.
- Integrate and troubleshoot Firebase services, FCM push notifications, deep linking, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Handle application lifecycle, background processing, offline capabilities, caching, and synchronization.
- Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and network efficiency.
- Work with Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and modern Android development practices.
- Develop React Native applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
- Debug and resolve production issues across different Android devices and OS versions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
- Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing wherever applicable.
- Work with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.




- Collaborate with QA teams for functional, regression, performance, andrelease testing.
- Publish and manage applications through Google Play Console and relevant enterprise distribution mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and provide timely fixes.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.

Required Skills

Android:

- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Solid experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
- Good understanding of Android SDK, Android lifecycle, activities, fragments, services, broadcasts, and background processing.
- Experience with Android UI development and responsive layouts.
- Strong understanding of REST API integration and JSON.
- Experience with local databases/storage such as Room, SQLite, Shared Preferences/DataStore, or equivalent.
- Experience with Android security best practices.
- Understanding of application performance optimization and memory management.
- Experience with Android debugging, profiling, crash analysis, and production issue resolution.

React Native:

- Strong hands-on experience with React Native application development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Experience with React Native navigation, state management, API integration, and reusable components.
- Experience integrating native Android modules/features into React Native.
- Understanding of React Native build and release processes.
- Experience debugging React Native applications across different devices and OS versions.




- Knowledge of performance optimization in React Native applications.

API & Integration

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration patterns.
- Experience with authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, SSO, or similar.
- Experience working with JSON-based APIs.
- Understanding of API error handling, retries, timeouts, caching, and offline scenarios.
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs and services.

Development & Engineering Practices

- Strong knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and release management.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Good to Have

- Experience with Node.js / Express.js or similar backend technologies.
- Understanding of backend API development.
- Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience with Firebase services such as FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, etc.
- Experience with iOS / Swift / Objective-C is an advantage.
- Experience with mobile application security, SSL pinning, encryption, secure storage, and VAPT remediation.
- Experience with enterprise applications and large-scale deployments.
- Experience integrating SSO/SAML or enterprise identity providers.
- Experience working with offline-first mobile applications.
