- Responsible for managing end-to-end demand planning and supply chain activities to ensure product availability, optimum inventory, timely delivery, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist logistics process for the development of current products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy and analyse end to end data.
- Develops process and supply flow to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
- Finalize prices of delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Schedule and execute periodic evaluations to ensure suppliers are adhering to pricing contracts and agreements.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
- Identify and manage possibilities within the supply chain by addressing tactical and strategic supply chain issues.
- Evaluation and report the key parameter of Team.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of team members with efficient utilization of resources.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations will be an advantage.
