- The primary purpose of the Power Apps Developer role is to design, develop, and maintain bespoke
- applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and connectors)
- to meet business requirements effectively. The role focuses on delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions that
- streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve data management across the organisation.

- The Power Apps Developer serves as a technical specialist in utilising the capabilities of the Microsoft
- ecosystem to integrate systems, automate processes, and deliver impactful solutions. They work closely with
- stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure seamless integration
- with other platforms such as Dynamics 365 F&O;, SharePoint, or external APIs.
- Ultimately, this role supports the organisation's digital transformation objectives by driving adoption of
- contemporary technologies while ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with user expectations and business
- goals.

Key Responsibilities As a Power Apps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools. You will leverage your expertise in Power Apps, Power

Automate, Dataverse, and connectors to deliver scalable solutions that meet business requirements.

Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate applications into broader systems while ensuring data integrity and security. Familiarity with technologies such as D365 F&O;, SharePoint,



Logic

Apps, Function Apps (C#), MS SQL, and REST APIs is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

- Application Development
- Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps).
- Build workflows and automation processes using Power Automate to streamline operations.
- Utilise Dataverse for data storage and management within applications.
- Develop and configure connectors and custom connectors to integrate external systems seamlessly.
- Integration & Data Management
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems such as Dynamics 365 F&O;, SharePoint, or third-party

APIs.
- Ensure proper data validation rules and security measures are implemented across all applications.
- Create and consume REST APIs for custom connector development when required.
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical

specifications.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure alignment between functional needs and technical designs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform unit testing to identify bugs or errors during development phases.




- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with end-users to validate functionality against requirements.
- Documentation & Support
- Create detailed documentation for developed applications, including workflows, data models, and user

guides.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications while troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for optimisation within existing applications or workflows using Power Platform tools.
- Stay updated on new features within the Microsoft ecosystem to enhance solutions proactively.

Essential Skills

- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools:
- Power Apps (Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps)
- Power FX for app logic customization
- Power Automate for workflow automation
- Dataverse for data storage and management
- Connectors (standard and custom connectors)
- Strong understanding of integration principles:
- Ability to connect Power Platform solutions with external systems like Dynamics 365 F&O; or SharePoint.
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs for custom connectors.
- Technical proficiency in:
- Logic Apps and Function Apps (C#) for advanced integrations.
- MS SQL for database management and querying.
