We’re Hiring: US Accountant ??? Location: Jalandhar, Punjab (On-site)

? Shift Timing: 7:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST (Night Shift)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated US Accountant to join our team in Jalandhar. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of US accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, along with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for US clients.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial records.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with applicable US accounting standards.
- Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.




- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure the confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in US accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and basic US accounting practices.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during the US night shift.
